Stafford Township, NJ - On Friday, January 30, 2026, at approximately 5:30 AM, the Stafford Township Police Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) concluded a several month-long narcotics investigation, which led to the arrest of 22-year-old Tahj M. Tyler and 32-year-old Jennifer A. Wilchak, both residing on Back Road in Manahawkin. Prior to Tyler and Wilchak's arrest, the investigation led to the issuance of a residential search warrant at a residence in the 200 Back Road apartment complex in Manahawkin. As a result of the search warrant execution, Tyler and Wilchak were found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Ultimately, Tyler was charged with 2C:35-5B(9)(B) Possession with the Intent to Distribute Less Than ½ Ounce of Methamphetamine (3rd degree crime), 2C:35-10A(1) Possession of Methamphetamine (3rd degree crime), and two counts of 2C:36-2A Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (disorderly persons offense). Wilchak was charged with 2C:35-10A(1) Possession of Methamphetamine (3rd degree crime) and 2C:36-2A Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (disorderly persons offense). After being processed at Stafford Township Police Department, Tyler and Wilchak were issued complaint summonses and released with a future court appearance scheduled at Ocean County Superior Court.
