Stafford Township, NJ - On April 15th, 2025, Jesse J. Lacey, age 42 of Mohawk Trail in Browns Mills, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with three counts of 3rd Degree Shoplifting in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:20-11B(1) following an investigation conducted by the Detective Bureau into three shoplifting incidents that occurred at the Lowe’s of Stafford Township on January 18, 2025, March 2, 2025, and April 3, 2025. The total value of the stolen merchandise was over $1900. In addition, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Jason J. Bohadel, age 43 of Baltimore Avenue in Manahawkin, New Jersey, who was charged with one count of Shoplifting in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:20-11B(1) for his role in the March 2, 2025 shoplifting incident working in conjunction with Jesse J. Lacey. Detective John Reed was the investigating officer.
