Stafford Township, NJ – The Stafford Township Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit was conducting surveillance on Compass Road when they observed 35 year old Anthony J. Mills Jr. of Compass Road in Manahawkin exit a residence and start riding a bicycle away. Mills was known to the DEU to have two active outstanding warrants, one out of Stafford Township Municipal Court for $1,000.00 and another out of Little Egg Harbor Municipal Court for $2,500.00.  Mills was ultimately arrested for the outstanding warrants by the DEU and transported to Stafford Township Police Headquarters for processing.  He was then taken into custody by Little Egg Harbor Police Department.  

As a reminder, the Stafford Township Police Department does not release arrest photos of defendants. All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
