Stafford Township, NJ – On July 16, 2025 at approximately 12:30 pm, 78 year old Shirley Esposito of Albatross Avenue in Manahawkin was placed under arrest for stealing an approximate total of $888 of merchandise from Shoprite located at 297 Route 72 in Manahawkin. The thefts occurred seventeen times between the months of May and June of 2025. Esposito was transported to police headquarters, charged with Shoplifting 2C:20-11, and released with a criminal complaint summons to appear in Stafford Township Municipal Court. Officer Teddy Caporrino #133 was the arresting officer.
