Stafford Township, NJ – On April 28th 2025, at approximately 8:30 PM, Joshua Petersen (43 years of North Iowa Street in Gunninson, Colorado ) was placed under arrest for stealing approximately $450 of merchandise from Shoprite located in Manahawkin. Petersen was transported to police headquarters, charged with Shoplifting 2C:20-11, and transported to Ocean County Jail due to an active warrant for arrest for shoplifting. This matter is pending a court appearance at Ocean County Superior Court. Patrolman Russell Okinsky was the investigating officer and Patrolman Bryan Brown was the arresting officer.
