Stafford Township, NJ – On April 7, 2025, at approximately 10:00 PM, James Tyger (37 years old of Railroad Avenue in Waretown, NJ) was placed under arrest for stealing approximately $230 of merchandise from Walmart located at 525 Route 72 West in Manahawkin. Tyger was transported to police headquarters, charged with Shoplifting 2C:20-11, and released with a criminal complaint summons to appear in Stafford Township Municipal Court. Officer Michael McMurry was the arresting officer.
