Stafford Township, NJ – On March 20, 2025, Danielle Thompson (39 years old of Columbia Avenue in Hopewell, NJ) was charged for passing counterfeit bills in an attempt to purchase assorted merchandise from Walmart located at 525 Route 72 in Manahawkin. Thompson was charged with Forgery 2C:21-1A(2), Theft by Deception 2C:20-4 and NJ trademark counterfeiting 2C:21-32C. The aforementioned charges were issued on a complaint warrant and forwarded to the Dauphin County (PA) Prison where Thompson is currently lodged awaiting extradition. Detective Zac Halliday was the arresting officer.
