Stafford Township, NJ – On July 29, 2024, at approximately 2:30 PM, Philip Norton (42 years old of S. Chester Ave, Riverside, NJ) was placed under arrest for stealing approximately $590.00 of merchandise from Home Depot located at 197 Route 72 in Manahawkin. Norton was transported to police headquarters, charged with Shoplifting 2C:20-11, and released with a criminal complaint summons to appear in Ocean County Superior Court. Officer Zac Halliday was the arresting officer.
