Stafford Township, NJ – On July 6, 2024 at 8:53PM a motorcycle collision occurred on State Highway 72 near General Grier Blvd. A 1997 Yamaha motorcycle operated by Christopher Trout, 33 of Barnegat was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed. Trout lost control near General Grier Blvd where the motorcycle went down and he was ejected from same. Trout was transported to Atlantic City Trauma for his injuries and is listed in stable condition. Traffic was briefly detoured off Route 72 then 1 lane was open during the investigation for approximately 45 minutes.
