Stafford Township, NJ – On March 5, 2026, John Haugh, (36 years old of Waters Edge Drive in Little Egg Harbor, NJ) was placed under arrest on the strength of a criminal complaint warrant for stealing approximately $3,105.00 of merchandise from Home Depot located at 197 Route 72 in Manahawkin stemming from a shoplifting investigation that occurred between November 2025-Decmber 2025. Haugh was charged with three (3) counts of 3^rd Degree Shoplifting in violation of N.J.S.A 2C:20-11B(1) and one (1) count of 4^th Degree Shoplifting in violation of N.J.S.A 2C:20-11B(1). Haugh was lodged in Ocean County Jail to appear in Ocean County Superior Court. Detective Zac Halliday was the investigating officer.
