Stafford Township, NJ - On December 26, 2025 at approximately 1:15 PM, Stafford Township Police Department responded to the Manahawkin Health & Rehabilitation Center located at 1211 Route 72 in Manahawkin for a report of a disturbance. A 37 year old male patient from Trenton was arrested for Aggravated Assault on a Healthcare Worker after striking a nurse in the head with a bottle of apple juice. The patient also had outstanding arrest warrants from Freehold Township Municipal Court, Trenton Municipal Court, and Bucks County Superior Court.

He was charged with one count of 2C:12-1B(5)(J)) on a complaint summons and was transported to Ocean County Jail pending extradition to Pennsylvania.  The nurse sustained minor injuries.  Patrolman Ryan Cahill was the arresting officer.
