Stafford Township, NJ - On November 12, 2024 at approximately 9:30 P.M., Patrolman Jackman Bush initiated a motor vehicle stop on a black Ford pickup near the area of East Bay Avenue and Mill Creek Road.  Detective Zach Wiatrowski arrived to assist with his K9 partner, Venus, and further investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle, 67 year old Everett J. Salmons of Baltimore Avenue in Manahawkin, to be in possession of methamphetamine.  Salmons was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where he was charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance 2C:35-10A(1) on a criminal complaint summons.  He was released with a court appearance to be scheduled by Ocean County Superior Court.

As a reminder, the Stafford Township Police Department does not release arrest photos of the defendants.   All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
