Garbage & Recycling Collection
No. All collections will be done once a month by zone. Bulk, metal, brush and leaves must be separated and at the curb by 6 a.m. on the Monday morning of the start of your bulk week, to ensure pick up during your scheduled zone week. Items can be placed out no earlier than 48 hours prior to the start of your bulk week.
Zone 1: The first Monday of the month starts your bulk, metal, brush and leaf collection
Zone 2: The second Monday of the month starts your bulk, metal, brush and leaf collection
Zone 3: The third Monday of the month starts your bulk, metal, brush and leaf collection
Zone 4: The fourth Monday of the month starts your bulk, metal, brush and leaf collection.

Stafford Township will collect up to three 8' panels of fence cut in half, should a repair and/or replacement be necessary. However, a total removal and/or replacement of fencing will require a dumpster on the site.

Stafford Township has a bulk and metal drop off located at 320 Haywood Road for township residents, with proof of residency. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8am - 2pm and Saturday 8am - Noon. No contractors, commercial vehicles or trailers.
Brush and/or leaves may be taken to the Southern Ocean Recycling Center on Haywood Road. For more information and hours of operations please call direct 609-978-0913.

Garbage & Recycling Collection
An additional automated trash or recycling container can be purchased at the Department of Public Works Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m. No more than three trash or recycling receptacles will be picked up on your collection day. Please call the office for purchasing information and scheduled delivery information.
The Public Works Department registers your purchased cans by number.

Yes, Stafford Township Public Works will repair or replace purchased automated receptacles damaged by township vehicles. Stafford Township will not replace the purchased can if damaged or stolen.
