ORDINANCE NO. 2026-05
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF STAFFORD, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 223 OF THE TOWNSHIP CODE, ENTITLED “FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS, RETAIL”
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Ordinance No. 2026-05 was introduced and passed on 1st reading by the Mayor and Township Council of the Township of Stafford at their meeting held on the 3rd day of February, 2026. The purpose of this ordinance enforces the regulations provided under Chapter 24, N.J.A.C. 8:24 “Sanitation in Retail Food Establishments, Food and Beverage Vending Machines and Cottage Food Operations” and regulations for mobile retail food establishments. This Ordinance is scheduled for public comment and adoption at the March 3, 2026 Council Meeting. All Council Meetings are located at the Municipal Building, 260 E. Bay Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ at 7:00 pm. Copies of this Ordinance are available at the Township Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.
