The Township of Stafford would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Starve Poverty International (SPI) for their incredible partnership and dedication to serving our community. Last Saturday, thanks to the generosity of our neighbors, 584 lbs of food were collected — that’s the equivalent of 487 meals for families in need! 💙

We met so many wonderful neighbors and are truly grateful to everyone who came together to support this important cause.

Since opening its doors in 2022, SPI has seen a 540% increase in residents served, with many coming from Stafford and Barnegat Townships. Your donations — big or small — make a meaningful difference for families and individuals facing food or housing insecurity.

Donations can be dropped off at the Starve Poverty Food Pantry, 99 NJ-72, Barnegat Township, NJ, during the following hours:

• Tuesdays: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

• Wednesdays: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Thursdays: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

SPI also welcomes restaurant gift cards to support their “No Hungry Kids” program, which partners with local schools to discreetly provide food access to children in need.
