COURT PICMunicipal court sessions are suspended through April 26, 2020

For this period, individuals scheduled to appear before the municipal court to contest a traffic or parking ticket, a minor local ordinance violation, or other matter should instead await notice of a new court date.

Defendants may continue to make payments for parking and traffic matters through the municipal court’s online payment website at

Filings and payments will also continue to be accepted at the court payment window or by mail.

Due to the municipal court building being officially closed, no in-person payments can be accepted at the court window.

Defendants may also continue to mail in payments but be advised that court staff may have limited access to the court office to process those payments.

Southern Ocean Medical Center Needs Your Help

Blood donors are needed.  A blood drive is taking place for team members and the public at Southern Ocean Medical Center on Tuesday, March 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The blood mobile will be stationed in the front of hospital. It is safe to donate blood. Coronavirus is not transmitted through blood, and donation centers take special measures to ensure social distancing, pre-screening and safety protocols. 

Those who are healthy, feeling well and eligible to give blood or platelets are urged to make an appointment by visiting Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.
